Abstract
The convergence between the Shiite religion and the signs and patterns of Iranian politics and culture is widely reflected in the works of the elites of the Safavid period. In the meantime, Mohammad Amin Waqari Yazdi, a writer and poet of the (11th AH/ 17th century AD), has clearly represented the Shiite and Iranian interests of this era in his Diwan (Book of poems) and Monshaat (letters). How Waqari contemporaneously reflects Shiite tendencies and Political traditions of monarchy and ministry in Iran is the main question of this research. The present study has studied his views and intellectual tendencies with a historical approach and with a descriptive and analytical method and a Library style, especially relying on Diwan-i Waqari. The present research confirms that although Waqari is one of the lesser known writers of the Safavid period, but during his Diwan he expressed harmony between Shiism and Iran Friendship in the form of expressing love and devotion to the Ahl al-Bayt, love of the Iran land and the Safavid dynasty.
