Aboutaleb, together with all Muslims, was one of the great figures of the last period of the history of Arab ignorance and the early Islamic era and played a prominent role in the life of the Prophet, despite the three great challenges of defending the tribe and its cohesion, protecting the tribal system, city and Its patterns, and the other three, played a role in caring for accepted rituals and beliefs, but in spite of all this, it chose a path that would eventually allow for a gentle transformation of society toward truth, albeit his actions at once. The peers and elders of Mecca did not have a defensible face. The present article, with regard to the central question of how Aboutaleb acted in the challenge of tradition and truth and whether he was concerned with the truth in support of the Prophet (pbuh) or as a matter of social and cultural status, seeks to support the tribal nerve / tribe, based on Glaser theory of choice, which is an attempt to explain human action in choosing the path of life based on the most basic human needs, عرضه to offer a defensible answer to it with historical methods and content analysis, without insisting on ideological conflicts. The hypothesis of the article is that he was thinking more of the truth than anything else, although he could not make a clear judgment in the classification of faith and disbelief.
